When I finish my studies, can I stay and live in the UK?
That is Wittington's mission. As long as our client abides by the immigration, police and university rules, we have the expertise to get our client the opportunity to reside permanently in the UK.
How much does it cost to study in the UK?
University tuition fees range from £10,000 to £38,000 per year, depending on the course and the university.
The cost of living expenses including room and board averages £12,000 per year with the exception of London where the average cost is £15,200.
How old do I have to be?
From 17 to more than 25 years old.
College students are normally 18 years old (if they are 17 they need parental consent).
Mature students are also considered to be those who start their university career at age 21 or who begin their postdoctoral studies after age 25.
What level of English in IELTS should I have?
It varies depending on the University and the course. While for a remedial course it is 4.5, for some courses at the most prestigious Universities such as Oxford and Cambridge it is 7.0.
Does Wittington guarantee my salary after I finish school?
No, unfortunately that is out of our reach. However, we help our client to position himself in the desired industry and with the best salary according to his skills.
Can I visit other countries in Europe while I am in the UK?
During holiday periods most students take the opportunity to travel. Some travel within the UK, others visit some countries in Europe and others return to their home country.
Immigration rules dictate that, in order to recognize continuous residency, the applicant must not be absent from the country for more than 180 days in a 12-month period without special permission.
Can I start my own business while I am in the UK?
A student cannot start his own business. The student has to graduate first in order to start his or her own business.
Can I work while I study?
Yes, all students can work part-time during the course, and full-time during vacations.
Can Wittington help me apply for a scholarship?
Unfortunately, we do not have experience in processing scholarships.
How difficult is it to study in English?
Starting a career can be difficult, even more so in an unfamiliar environment. However, most students report that the situation begins to improve after the first few months. Total immersion in British culture accelerates understanding of the English language. Our job at Wittington is to provide all the tools to make this transition as easy as possible so that our client will be successful in their studies and in their plans after finishing university.
